eFM Launches the Global PlaceTech Alliance

An ecosystem to redefine the way in which designed, lived and governed spaces are used.

The Global PlaceTech Alliance was created within the framework of ROAD, the Advanced District of Roma Ostiense, with the objective of connecting and enhancing the experiences of leading corporate and business players. It aims to transform spaces into places capable of providing added value through services.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Global PlaceTech Alliance,” said Daniele Di Fausto, CEO of eFM. “Born within the companies founding ROAD and with the goal of becoming the main hub for PlaceTech innovation in Europe.” A project that will also take place in a space in Rome, designed to combine the physical and digital realms through services.

But it’s not only technology. “It requires cross-industry alliances between organizations and different markets to define standard outcomes,” added Emiliano Boschetto, Chief Philosophy Officer of eFM. “The purpose is to create a collaborative ecosystem to rethink spaces and improve services.”

This is a call for collaboration. “We need to bring these ecosystems together and we must build more collaborative spaces,” said Andrea Granelli, CEO of Kanso. “This highlights the complexity of defining spaces in places that cannot be isolated and where innovation is created together,” continued David Arconada, President of Mexican CX Association.

At the heart of ROAD, this concept gains concrete form. “We work together to create new projects that will generate value for companies and create better places for people,” commented Massimiliano Garri, Technology Innovation and Digital Officer of Gruppo FS.

For people, it is essential: “We need a network connecting all stakeholders to create human-centered and sustainable experiences,” added David Arconada, President of Mexican CX Association.

In this convergence between ecosystems, technology and business, a new paradigm emerges: Experience As A Service to deliver personalized experiences and add value to people, organizations, and society.

"Without neglecting an important aspect of the initiative. In the words of Di Fausto: 'We have started to set up a venture fund to finance new startups. The idea is that, thanks to the network of clients, the specific skills of eFM, and its platform, we can identify new needs, new methods, look for existing startups in Europe, and provide immediate value for clients by solving solutions on one side. But most importantly, to enable the growth of these startups.'

Therefore, eFM becomes an industrial partner of the 'Placetech Venture'. Di Fausto concludes: 'We will select the first 20 startups in the coming months and the goal is to establish a fund of 70 million, supported by companies and institutional partners".
