eFM accelerates its business plan and acquires Opinno
Intelligent space management “augments” content to create transformative experiences of innovation and learning
eFM, already the leading digital Space as a Service platform and the foremost technology player dedicated to space, announces the entry of Opinno into the Group, expanding its scope to include corporate transformation and innovation.
‘Opinno brings with it solid, internationally recognised expertise in the design and implementation of complex innovation processes,’ comments Daniele Di Fausto, CEO of eFM Global. ‘With this operation, we are accelerating our path towards leadership in the digital management of places as experiences: we are becoming the first European #ExperienceasaService platform, capable of bringing together spaces, people and content in an ambitious trajectory that looks to Europe and the world.’
‘In eFM, we found not only a solid, ambitious and international business plan, but also an extraordinary alignment in terms of values and people,’ adds Tommaso Canonici, Co-Founder of Opinno. ‘The convergence of our paths strengthens our growth potential and amplifies the scope of our actions.’
The deal, signed on 13 October, is a crucial step in an increasingly intense international growth strategy that aims to build the first scalable architecture capable of combining places, people and innovative content to accelerate complex transformations and generate impact on a global scale.
‘The distinctive feature of eFM, recognised in various international markets, is that it conceives and designs places of experience, without ever neglecting the importance of the digital dimension,’ explains Giuseppe Capicotto, Chief Revenue Officer at eFM. ‘The entry of Opinno represents an acceleration of value and expertise in the ongoing process of integrating space and content.’
The digital infrastructure of the venues — built around the MySpot platform, recognised by Gartner as one of the most innovative solutions in the world — is now complemented by the content and innovation and learning know-how engine developed by Opinno, which for over fifteen years has been supporting large organisations and institutions in corporate innovation, organisational transformation and the adoption of artificial intelligence in key processes.
‘At Opinno, we help clients implement innovation projects by following three verticals,’ concludes Silvia Amato, General Manager of Opinno. ‘Ecosystem Driven Growth, which means connecting with innovation ecosystems. Venture Driven Growth, which means working on new projects. And finally, People Driven Growth, which means accompanying people on a path of growth that is first and foremost cultural.’
In particular, Opinno, as editor of the prestigious MIT Technology Review magazine in Italy, brings with it a unique wealth of relationships and content, part of one of the most influential international communities dedicated to technological innovation. Within the eFM Group, this wealth will contribute to addressing the issues of artificial intelligence and innovation on a European and international scale, thanks to the Group's network of customers and partners.
This integration strengthens eFM's value proposition, extending it beyond physical space to embrace innovation, culture and data in a single scalable offering.
